Hey everyone! We'll be using this post to share some of the work we are doing within the MPM Center building (our new business center where our offices are located).
First, a little bit of history about the building we've been able to gather through various sources, including one of the previous owners. Initially, the building was the Cleveland School in Manitowoc. As far as I know, it was an elementary school that ran up until around 1979. At some point after that, a couple of different beauty schools made this building home. The building was vacant for about 5 years and was still set up as a beauty school with equipment and all until we purchased the building.
We have a lot of plans in the works, but do not plan on making any major structural changes to the building itself. The renovations will be an ongoing project for the next few years and we're excited to see how things turn out!
I'll start by sharing some pictures of how the building looked when we initially walked through it.
Next, we're working on the hallways. Just a fresh coat of paint so far.
Our next project were the men's and women's bathrooms on the first floor. They are still a work in progress, but here's where we're at currently. Since we don't have pictures of how the bathrooms looked like before, I've added in pictures of the top floor bathrooms that have yet to be remodeled.

We've also updated the connecting hallway between the CEO's office, the conference room, and rec room. We removed the lockers, did some painting, and put in some new flooring over the original hardwood floor.
The next area we worked on was the upcoming shared conference room for our tenants using space in our building. We're still working on a few things, but some painting and new flooring sure come a long way.
Starting off, I'll share some pictures of the updated lobby area (formerly the school gym and then main salon area for the beauty schools). This area will now be used for reception, as a general lobby area, hangout and seating area for the coffee shop, and more. We have a lot more in the works for this area still, but it's come a long way!
